H1N1: Vaccine available to general public in Suwannee next week

Beginning Monday, H1N1 flu vaccines for the general public will be available at several locations throughout Suwannee County, according to health department officials.

In Live Oak, vaccines will be administered at the Suwannee County Health Department, the Suwannee County Coliseum and the Spirit of Suwannee Music Park. Points of distribution are as the follows:

Starting Nov. 16, vaccines will be administered at the Suwannee County Health Department Monday through Friday continually from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The health department is located at 915 Nobles Ferry Road.

Times and dates vary for other locations around the county.

Vaccines will be administered at the Suwannee County Coliseum, Exhibition Hall II Nov. 16 through Nov. 18 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Coliseum is located at 1302 11th Street.

At the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park, vaccines will be available Tuesday, Nov. 24 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The park is located at 3076 95th Drive.

In Dowling Park, vaccines will be administered at the Advent Christian Village Advent Christian Church on Friday, Nov. 20 and Monday, Nov. 23 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days.

In Branford, H1N1 vaccines will be administered at Hatch Park Community Center Thursday, Nov. 9 and Wednesday, Dec. 2 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days. The center is located at 403 SE Craven Street in Branford.
