‘Dogs defend Oaken Bucket tonight at Lake City

The Suwannee Bulldogs, 2-7, 0-4 in District 3-3A, will try to defend the Oaken Bucket, which they won last year against Lake City, in their last game of the season tonight in Lake City against the Tigers.

“Hopefully we can keep the bucket here for one more year,” said head coach Tommy Chambers. The ‘Dogs are facing a team not unlike themselves with a record of 3-6.

“This is the first time I have been in Suwannee County going 2-7 and they are 3-6. They got some issues that might affect their play. If we just execute and do what we should be doing we will be okay,” Chambers said.

The X-Man, Xavier Perry, who has been out due to an ankle injury, will be back for the last game.

Garrett Pritchett will not play due to wrist surgery. Joey Dukes and Alex Falleck will also be out due to injuries.

Come out and support the ‘Dogs as they defend the Oaken Bucket in their last game of the season. Until then enjoy these photos by Paul Buchanan from the Nov. 7 game against Bishop Kenny.
